Read the Bible Through in a Year - Job 11-13
Today in our reading through the Bible in a year, Job chapter 11-13 brings to life some very interesting insights. First, keep in mind the historical aspect of Job. In case you aren't aware of this, let me enlighten you. Job was the son of Issachar, who was the son of Jacob. There is a message here for you to see that God is revealing to us by Holy Spirit. Job's name means calamities. Issachar's name means bought with a price. Jacob's name means grace. The Holy Spirit is now telling us all calamities have been bought with a price by grace! This is really good news to know when reading the book of Job.
Keep this also in mind. The entire trial of Job was only nine months and it ended! Nothing in your life is to continue on forever (trials, pain, sicknesses, trouble, etc.) The truth is that the length of any trial is determined by the person who is experiencing the trial. Any weapon or trial forged against us will always involve confronting three distinct beliefs. (for example, Jacob's friends - Eliphaz = human experiences; Bildad = human traditions; Zophar = human merit. Notice they all focus on the natural, not the supernatural). God is constantly blamed by Job and his friends for what has happened in Job's life, yet none of that is true! The devil is behind it all.
ANYTHING THAT KILLS, STEALS, and DESTROYS IS NEVER FROM GOD!!!
But because of wrong teachings (human experiences), past down traditions (human traditions) and self-righteousness (human merit), trials and tribulations last longer than they should.
God never changes - he called Job a blameless and upright man (Job 1:1). God never stopped seeing Job that way.
Today, if troubles, trials and sicknesses are still carrying on, don't side with the natural and what others may be saying about God. If you are born again, you are blameless and upright! End these trials and tribulations today by declaring that you are blameless in Christ and you are the righteousness of God (upright). This will cause that season to come to an end! (Psalm 68:1-3)
