Read the Bible in a Year - Matthew 6

Today we find out from Jesus how we should approach prayer.   First ,  you have to know God is never caught off guard, surprised or unaware of what is going on in your life.   In fact, not only is He well aware of everything going on in your life but He has already anticipated it and provided for it  (i.e, answers are in place).   Stop approaching God as if He is not overseeing your life, or like you need to inform Him about what is going on.   Keep this in mind.... prayer is never begging, pleading, negotiating, bargaining or collecting enough people to side with you to prove to God you really need help!    In Matthew 6:8, Jesus says "My Father, (your Father). knows what you have need of before you even ask."  WOW!     With that said, we still need to speak out loud the Word concerning the situation in our life.   Nothing happens on earth as it is in heaven, unless we speak out the scriptures.   Remember this,   John 6:63 - "the words we speak are spirit and they are life!"    Jesus declared.

In conclusion, faith is not saying the same thing over and over again to get God to move.  God has moved.  Jesus came.  Everything is defeated and now we reign with Jesus.   Faith is saying what God has done for us through Jesus - that's how you see it come to pass in your life.

THANKING HIM IS BANKING WITH HIM SO GO AHEAD AND MAKE A WITHDRAWAL - IT'S ALL THERE!

Thank you Father - this is a year to "Arise, Shine, for the Light has come and the Glory of the Lord is Risen upon thee!"   Isaiah 60:1
